B. Conditions:
- The applicant has to be a member of IOA.- PG degree in
Ortho (M.S or equivalent) - Experience: Maximum 5 years Post-PG.
- Valid UK VISA Academic IELTS with the required scores
for working in NHS - Required to submit a Fellowship Report at the end of the
Fellowship
C. About the Fellowship: - Base hospital: Golden Jubilee NHS Hospital, Glasgow
(U.K) - Tertiary care centre: Extensive supervised training in
primary & revision lower limb arthroplasty - Fellowship duration: 1 to 2 years
- Salary: 32K or More GBP per year -HR department
D. Procedure:
- Fellowship shall be advertised, and Application sent to
IOA Secretary /Foreign Fellowship By Filling Online Google
Form – Click Link at Bottom Single PDF file as Upload File - Application shall be scrutinized by the IOA secretariat,
and forwarded to Fellowship Committee (IOA President,
IOA Secretary, Chairman Fellowship Committee) - Fellowship Committee shall forward its
recommendations to Sponsor-NHS Trust -Glasgow - Online Interview and Selection by NHS Trust -Glasgow
- GMC Paper work by NHS Trust -Glasgow
Timeline:
April 30, 2021: Announcement of Fellowship and Invitation of Application.
July 30, 2021: Last date of sending in Application (Along with IELTS result copy)
August 1 to August 5, 2021: Scrutiny of Application for Eligibility
August 6, 2021: Notification to Eligible Candidates by email.
August 14, 2021: Online Interview and Selection by NHS Trust -Glasgow
August 15, 2021: Declaration of result and notification to Successful Candidates.
September 2021 to January 2022: Completion of necessary formalities and Paperwork.
February 2022: Commencement of Fellowship.
